Terms of Use
Project Arc Technologies — terms for the Project Arc production service.
Last Updated: October 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Project Arc website, software platform, applications, features, content and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you access or use the Service on behalf of a company, architectural practice, engineering firm, contractor, consultant, owner or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of that organization in connection with your use of the Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. Service and Preview Access
Project Arc is available as a production service. Preview, demonstration, prototype, beta, trial or pre-release access may also be offered.
Preview functionality may change, contain errors, be incomplete, become unavailable, or operate differently from future production versions.
Unless Project Arc expressly confirms otherwise in writing, preview access should not be relied upon as the sole repository for critical project, contractual, financial, safety, legal or professional records.
Users remain responsible for maintaining appropriate copies, backups and records required for their professional, contractual and legal obligations.
3. Project Arc
Project Arc is an architecture, engineering and construction (“AEC”) project information and collaboration platform designed to connect project information across phases including pursuits, design, bidding and tendering, construction administration and closeout.
Project Arc provides tools for organizing, communicating, reviewing and working with project information.
Project Arc is not an architectural, engineering, construction, legal, accounting or other professional service provider.
4. Accounts and Authorized Users
Certain features require an account.
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
- activities performed through your account;
- using reasonable security practices; and
- promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.
You may not knowingly provide account access to an unauthorized person.
Organizations using Project Arc may designate administrators who can manage users, permissions, projects and organization settings.
5. Customer and Project Data
“Customer Data” means information, documents, drawings, specifications, images, comments, communications, project records and other materials uploaded to, created in, submitted to or managed through the Service by or on behalf of a user or organization.
As between Project Arc and the customer, the customer retains its rights, title and interest in its Customer Data.
Using Project Arc does not transfer ownership of Customer Data to Project Arc.
You grant Project Arc a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce, transmit, display and otherwise handle Customer Data only as reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, support and improve the Service, comply with applicable law, and perform functionality requested or authorized by users.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and authority necessary to upload, share and process Customer Data through the Service.
6. Data Location
The production environment for current customers stores core customer data at rest — the Project Arc database, sign-in (authentication) records and files in private storage — with Supabase in its Canada (Central) region. Other processing, such as logs, network delivery and caching, email delivery, support and AI-assisted requests, may involve service providers operating in other countries, including the United States. A United States customer data environment is planned and is not yet generally available. A customer’s applicable storage region will be identified in its order form or service documentation.
Project Arc remains accountable for personal information handled by its service providers. Information processed outside Canada may be subject to the laws of, and lawful access by authorities in, that jurisdiction.
7. Project Participants and Shared Records
Project Arc may allow architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, owners and other authorized project participants to work with shared project records.
Access to a record does not alter any participant’s contractual responsibilities, professional obligations, scope of services, authority or standard of care.
Project Arc does not determine whether a project communication, response, instruction, review, approval or other action satisfies the requirements of a contract or applicable law.
8. Professional Responsibility
Project Arc is a project information and collaboration tool.
It does not replace professional judgment.
Users remain responsible for reviewing and verifying project information and for complying with applicable contracts, laws, regulations, building codes, professional standards, contractual notice requirements and document review and approval procedures.
No information generated, organized, summarized or displayed by Project Arc constitutes architectural, engineering, legal, financial, accounting or other professional advice.
9. Artificial Intelligence
Project Arc provides optional AI-assisted features, currently Ask Arc answers about project specifications, AI analysis of pasted meeting notes, and AI agenda suggestions.
AI-generated results may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate for a particular project or purpose.
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated results before relying on them.
AI-generated results do not constitute professional advice and do not replace professional judgment.
AI-assisted requests are routed through Lovable’s AI gateway to an OpenAI model and may be processed in the United States. The information sent is limited to what the selected feature needs, as described in the AI & Data Policy.
Organization owners and administrators can turn the organization’s AI Features setting on or off. AI Features are off by default where no organization setting exists. When AI Features are off, Project Arc blocks every AI request on its servers and sends no customer content to Lovable AI or OpenAI; non-AI search and normal Project Arc functions remain available.
10. Documents, Drawings and Specifications
Project Arc may allow users to upload, review, mark up, comment on, organize and reference drawings, specifications, reports and other project documents.
Users are responsible for confirming document status, revision, issue date, contractual status, accuracy, completeness and whether a document is appropriate for its intended use.
Project Arc does not independently certify that any document displayed in the Service is the current contractual or governing document.
11. Electronic Communications and Project Records
Project Arc may facilitate electronic communications, comments, notifications, reviews, issue records, transmittals and other project activity.
Users are responsible for determining whether electronic communication through Project Arc satisfies applicable contractual or legal notice requirements.
The existence of information in Project Arc does not itself establish contractual notice, acceptance, approval or authorization unless applicable project agreements provide otherwise.
12. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
- upload content you do not have authority to use;
- distribute malicious software;
- attempt unauthorized access;
- circumvent security controls;
- interfere with operation of the Service;
- probe or test vulnerabilities without authorization;
- impersonate another person or organization;
- scrape protected Service content through unauthorized automated means;
- reverse engineer the Service except where such restriction is prohibited by law; or
- use the Service for fraudulent, harmful or unlawful activity.
13. Project Arc Intellectual Property
Project Arc Technologies retains all rights in the Project Arc software, interface, designs, workflows, technology, documentation, branding, logos and other materials created by or for Project Arc, excluding Customer Data and third-party materials.
These Terms do not grant users ownership of Project Arc intellectual property.
14. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback regarding Project Arc, Project Arc may use that feedback to develop and improve the Service without restriction or compensation, provided doing so does not transfer ownership of Customer Data to Project Arc.
15. Third-party Services
Project Arc may integrate with or rely upon third-party services.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Project Arc is not responsible for third-party services outside Project Arc’s reasonable control.
16. Export and Portability
Project Arc is designed around the principle that project information should remain portable.
Certain functionality may allow authorized users to export project records and files.
Users remain responsible for determining what records must be retained and for maintaining appropriate independent records and backups.
17. Service Availability and Changes
Project Arc may modify, add, remove or discontinue features as the Service develops.
During preview and pre-release periods, functionality may change without notice.
Project Arc does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
18. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
PROJECT ARC MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SUITABLE FOR EVERY PROJECT, CONTRACTUAL REQUIREMENT OR PROFESSIONAL PURPOSE.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
19. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PROJECT ARC TECHNOLOGIES AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, GOODWILL OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO USE OF THE SERVICE.
Any additional limitations applicable to paid subscriptions may be established in an applicable subscription agreement, order form or other written agreement.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
20. Suspension and Termination
Project Arc may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users, address suspected unlawful or abusive activity, respond to security concerns, enforce these Terms or comply with legal requirements.
Users may discontinue use of the Service at any time.
21. Privacy
Use of personal information through the Service is subject to the Project Arc Privacy Policy.
Where third-party services process information on behalf of Project Arc, their involvement may also be described in applicable privacy or AI/data documentation.
22. Changes to these Terms
Project Arc may update these Terms as the Service develops.
The “Last Updated” date identifies the current version.
Material changes may be communicated through the Service or other reasonable means where appropriate.
23. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to applicable law and any separate written agreement, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought before courts of competent jurisdiction in British Columbia, Canada.
24. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
Failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with applicable policies and any separate written agreement between Project Arc and the customer, constitute the agreement governing the matters addressed by them.
25. Contact
Questions regarding these Terms may be submitted through the Project Arc Contact page.
